Does anyone know anything about the Engineering Physics major, anecdotal or otherwise. Just sniffing around, it piqued my interest, but I don't know much about it.

It piqued my interest as well. I have heard it’s a very small major. Less than 50 students if I recall. My information is a few years old though so I can’t speak to the size of it now.

I looked into it at the major fair. It seemed too specialized and not very “real worldy”

I want to make money/work in business, not do research.

to my knowledge many students who do engineering physics actually double major in another engineering discipline. similar to what was said above, engineering physics is more geared towards graduate school / research. i believe most of the students who study engineering physics also end up taking higher level math and physics that other engineers aren’t exposed to.

basically, i think the most distinct thing about engineering physics is that it’s better if you want to go into research.
