Engineering Pre-Med?

Is is possible to get a Bachelor of Engineering and qualify for most med schools.
(Other than Biomedical Engineering)

You can major in (mostly) anything and get into med school as long as you fulfill the prereqs (see stickies…where this is also answered). It might be difficult to squeeze in the prereqs without going to college for another year but it’s possible.

heres my topic about it. i am an enginner

Thanks for your replies, most medical programs require Biology, Chem. and Physics for a couple years. Engineering would definitely fulfill Physics but what about Bio, can I do it as an elective?

You can have whatever major your heart desires as long as pre-med reguirements are covered. Just make sure your GPA is high, engineering is the hardest of them all with GPAs usually lower than other majors.
