Hi, I would like to major in Engineering. Could anyone suggest me some LACs with relatively decent Engineering Programs?
I've already known the colleges such as Harvey Mudd, Cooper Union, Rose-Hulman, Bucknell, and Lafayette.

Swarthmore has a major in Engineering, but not any specific ones.

I teach at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and we have an engineering program focused on students. We visited Rose-Hulman and we model ourselves after them. We have tons of scholarships available, contact me if you are interested.

add Lehigh

Bucknell's very good - computer science and engineering, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical and biomed. All programs ABET-accredited, except biomed, which will apply for accreditation when it graduates its first class in 2007.

Check out the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Both BA and BE degrees are granted. The latter is ABET certified.

If you're considering Harvey Mudd, Cooper Union, and Rose-Hulman, you might want to take a look at Olin College in Needham, MA.

I heard swarthmore's wasn't that great

thanks guys
what about union college?

Turns out a number of the New England LAC's have 3-2 type programs with Dartmouth. Go to Dart's website and check out the engineering pages - you'll get the info there.
