Engineering progression after freshman year

I see where it’s listed the GPA requirements to automatically progress for your engineering major after freshman year, but are there statistics to show the percentage that actually qualify to do so?

Thanks.

Don’t know. However, it should be easy for most engineering students to do well in the math and science classes and be able to continue. Typically STEM students will take and do well in enough HS AP versions of math and science classes to have a good knowlege foundation for UW work. Plus, they like those subjects and interest plays a role in doing well. Students who can’t get A’s and B’s in related fields should not attempt a major. A good foundation in the basics is neccesary to do further work. I would not let these requirements stand in the way of considering UW. All majors have minimum gpa requirements.
