Does anyone know when incoming freshmen engineering students will be able to register for classes?
Also, it still shows that I don't have an advisor on WebStac.

Thanks!

Not until mid-July (either through going to an engineering weekend or when they open all engineering freshmen registration times).

I see. I was just wondering, because online it shows some of the classes already filling up…

It’s possible that non-freshman are the ones that have signed up for the classes already.

As a matter of fact, anyone who has already registered is definitely not a freshman.

What are you concerned that’s filling?

Many classes that are typically “freshmen” classes cap class sizes until freshmen can register or they force everyone to go through a wait list to control who gets in.

Don’t worry about gettin into standard freshmen engineering classes. You might not like your sections time (especially for recitations or lab sections), but you’ll for sure get in to at least something.
