<p>Um...did you get one of the Merit Research Awards? If you did, then you will (under normal circumstances) being doing research your freshman (sophomore, junior, senior) year...</p>
<p>Without this award, professors say that it is harder to do research with undergrads...but definitely possible...just make sure to talk to the your professors when you get to USC and tell them you are interested...</p>
