hi. i had a few questions about the school of engineering scholarships. any responses would be greatly appreciated.

1) are these scholarships open to international students (for the ones that do not mention anything about nationality)

2) the requirements say that level of study (eg. freshman, sophomore etc.) depends on the number of credits. i have high school credit that makes me a sophomore, but i do not have a UCLA GPA. most scholarships for sophomores require a minimum GPA. so should i apply for freshman scholarships or sophomore scholarships or both or neither?

3) many scholarships mention that leadership and extra-curricular participation count. does this include high-school work?

4) what is the application procedure? is there an interview after applying or is it solely based on the essay, the application and the resume?

5) any tips/suggestions for applying.

thanks in anticipation.
