Anyway, do you guys know good engineering schools that could give me scholarships or financial aid?? Im able to pay at least 30,000/year and I want to study mechanical or computer engineering
no location preference
thanks

I don’t think your stats are high enough for scholarships or for the schools that give aid to int’ls.

To keep to around the $30k per year budget, and to find eng’g schools that will accept you, you need to go down the ladder but find good eng’g schools.

Look at UA-Huntsville. they may give you a little merit, they have very good eng’g, and they’re located by major high tech companies.

South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology should be affordable at list price if you have a $30,000 per year budget.

They are not that selective, so they may not care that you chose math studies SL instead of math SL or math HL. But you may want to do additional self-study of topics where math SL goes into more depth than math studies SL so that you are ready for calculus.

Thanks ucbalamnus and mom2collegekids!
I just researched those schools and really like them. They seem to have strong engineering programs and are under my budget.

About the Ib I think I won’t be penalized for that because my highschool doesn’t have HL or SL, just math studies

I also thought about applying to IowaStateU, NCStateU and Virginia tech.
Would I be admitted there? and do they have good engineering?
