Engineering Schools (my chances?)

Cappex says I have a better chance of getting into Georgia Tech, which isn't that bad but it looks wrong because schools like Rensselaer Poly I have a lower chance?

SAT: 590 Eng / 760 Math / 690 Writing
I took it again a week ago, I know I can get 800 Math, hoping 650+ English...
I didn't take the ACTs.
GPA: 101 ~ weighted, rank 5

:) Thanks in advance

You probably have a good chance at these schools.

Just a tip to save money, dont apply to caltech. : (

Yes, your scores are definitely out of range for caltech. Everything else looks good though!

I don’t think you can get into CalTech either but the other schools seem to be in range.

Eh, Caltech is really far and its more of my “reach” school (I live in NY). Thanks for the input though!

His scores are fine for Caltech. Only the math score is really important.

He needs to show a strong interest in science/math/engineering though.
