I heard back today about the honors dorm. I got an email that said everyone should know by early next week.

^^^As did I (so excited!). Good luck to all who are awaiting their decisions!

Has anyone heard that they got into SPACE?

I know of one kid who (inadvertently) learned of his acceptance to the SPACE dorm-but that was it...

Today the Pittstart advisor told my son they would be informed in about 2 - 3weeks. She implied that notification was a little later this year than previous.

The housing/room mate information can be accessed on their pitt account. My son's room and room mate was listed. Go to: Communities - Panther Central - Housing

Hi, I am an engineer that graduated in '05. I did not live in SPACE my freshman year and was happy that I did not. I much preferred living with a mix of people from different majors/personalities/demeanors. As far as homework help, you can take the elevator up to the SPACE floor to visit all your engineering friends.

Does anyone know what the SPACE floors are? The rep. at Panther Central didn't know.

Thanks for the info, MTnest! (I've heard that the SPACE floors will be in one of the Towers dorms, but I can't verify that information-sorry!).

They were in Tower A when I was in school, about halfway up.

SPACE is in Tower A- I just heard back today that I got in!!! :D

All I know is that the girls engineering floor is floor 11 - not sure about the boys floor... it might be floors 8-10...

Was told that Boys should be 8, 9 and 10 with girls on 11.

In Tower A, are the dorm room doors metal so a magnet could stick to them?

Forbes over SPACE or towers any day. In fact, anything over towers.
