You can search on mysummeradvisor.com under Academic Programs. There are lots of them. Johns Hopkins runs several across the country, for example. There are also some girls only opportunities that might be free. There are also some free materials science programs across the U.S. run by ASTM. They deal with many engineering problems.
A good start on the site is also to search for programs in your area.
Also check if your state has a Governor’s School. There often is an engineering program. There is a list of states with Governor’s Schools on mysummeradvisor.com on the sports page.
