Also, if you majored in Art, Biology, Music Theory…really doesn’t matter. And there are lots of engineers with law degrees.
No specific undergraduate major is required to go to law school or practice law.
Having an undergraduate engineering degree may be helpful if you want to go into certain types of law, like patent law.
A high school classmate got her MS in structural engineering, then went on to get her law degree. She wanted to practice patent law. I lost touch with her, so I’m not sure how she did.
