I need help deciding among the three. I will probably go into computer(software) or chemical engineering. Maybe even engineering physics. But those are the only three I have in mind right now( applying right out of high school). And I am very serious about the quality of education. so which one do you think would work best? And why do you think so?

UBC is the best-known and has the highest applicant profile.

I’m doing some research on UVic myself, and have come up with mixed results. It has a good coop program but isn’t really known for academic greatness.

^ bump^^ …I need more advice in order to decide between all of them!
P.S. SFU is off the list now. but the other two remain . Thanks.
@ noimagination - Yes I agree about UBC being the best known. I even found out that they have a coop program for 2nd year engineering…but I have no idea about U Vic.

I would go to UBC in a heartbeat. BUT, I don’t know much about UVic and I like to look at world ranking and reputation, so I’m a little biased in that sense.

UBC UBC UBC UBC UBC UBC
I have a friend in the engineering program there and he absolutely loves it. It’s also definitely the best ranked of those three.
