Is it possible to get into an engineering program with a low math SAT score (600-650)? I am in the top 10% of my class, have over a 3.8 UW GPA and have taken all honors/AP science courses since freshman year. However, my math SAT was 620. Is it possible for me to still get accepted into good engineering programs?

anyone have an idea?

I think you’ll be fine, but apply to a variety of schools… safties and matches for sure!

You should still be able to get into less selective but strong engineering programs, such as Purdue or Missouri UST. Purdue’s 25th-75th percentile Math SAT scores are 540-680, so your score is just a bit higher than the ~50th percentile.

Thanks.

I’m not completely sold on going into engineering, since I have a passion for history as well, but I want to be able to get accepted into a good engineering program should I decide to go that route.
