English Articulation Confusion Between CCC & UCLA/Berkeley?

Spring 08 will be my 4th Semester at my CCC (Cerritos College).

I'm motivated to transfer to UCLA or Berkeley for Junior Transfer Fall 09, giving me 3 semesters more here to tackle some more classes.(and maybe summer if I don't travel abroad).

For some reason I just can't understand what the English major articulation is asking of me.

(these pics are for UCLA) (As for Berkeley, I'm finding it even more odd)

So far I've completed

English 100 and English 102.

As for the Foreign Language Deal... I completed 3 years of Spanish in High School and have completed French 101 my first semester at CCC.

You have two choices- either take 3 quarters of a language + 2 courses of literature in translation, or take 5 quarters of language.
Ask your counselor how many quarters your 3 years of high school Spanish would fulfill.

As for the other requirement, just take the two survey of English literature classes that your college offers.

I also explained Berkeley's system to you in your other thread. What exactly are you confused about?
