<p>I was reading the orientation schedule and came across "English Composition Exemption Theme." Does anyone have any more information on this, besides that it's for freshmen with over 730V looking to waive the freshman composition requirement (in other words, anything beyond what's in the schedule)?</p>

<p>I think it makes it unnecessary, since they're both getting you out of ENG 111.</p>

<p>Dtown is right, getting a four or a five on either of the AP English exams will automatically place you out of the same class as you'd place out of at the exemption theme.</p>
