English major?

<p>Hi, everyone!</p>

<p>How hard is it exactly to get accepted as an English major? Specifically, to the Division of Humanities, Arts, and Cultural Studies. I called the English Department adviser, and she said that the department is very large and can therefore accommodate a large amount of students. I don’t want to draw conclusions too quickly on this, but…does that mean it’s a bit easier to get accepted into that major, whether it’s through regular decision, the waitlist, or appealing?</p>

<p>if they actually said that then they would be less stringet with grades and stats because they need a certain amount of people in each division or major</p>

<p>@firstgenblackman‌ I sure hope that’s true in my case because I’m appealing, and I think my stats are what got me rejected in the first place. -_- </p>
