Enjoy The Subject, Hate The Professor - 2010 Spring Edition

<p>Just thought that I would start a thread for those of you who are looking to vent some frustration/aggression that has been building up during our final term as CCC students. So here's my question: What course(s)/subject(s) have you taken that you found that you enjoyed, but the professor was terrible?</p>

<p>Personally, I actually really like physics but my professor is a f**king nightmare! He spends more time talking about the history of physics (i.e. Isaac Newton) than he does about the concepts we need to know in order to solve problems. Also, when introducing new material he often yells (this is not an exaggeration, he yells LOUD) at the class for answers to things we have never seen before (mind you this is at 7am, ugh). Alas, I might have been an engineer if I could bare this jerkoff for 4 semesters.</p>

<p>This semester Italian.</p>

<p>The professor is a sweetheart…a pushover…he allows the classroom to be a high school classroom. People talk over him, people leave and come back and then leave before the class is out.
He accepts late homework…every exam is take home (all the slackers cheat.)
To me it seems that he doesnt want to be there but loves being with the students…Like he is a good professor but he is just tired of life. </p>

<p>It has made Italian less enjoyable and it has made me regret not taking French this semester. My French prof. is totally strict and I find that I need a tough professor…otherwise its too easy.</p>
