Question is obviously in the topic title. :)

My geology class has 2 professors. They are both very passionate and nerdy… and hilarious. Awesome class.

My endangered languages prof. I was doing a semester long project on the Romani languages and she was constantly giving me stuff to help me with my research that she had picked up on her European travels. It was wonderful, especially since I’m 1/4 Roma, but never got a chance to know my Roma grandfather. She was just so approachable and passionate about everyone’s language- it was just a very fun and interesting class.

General Chemistry I. He has a strong chinese accent so it is a little hard to understand him at times, but he makes the class interesting and truly cares about his students. He’s also pretty much the reason why I switched my major to Biochemistry. I was truly lucky to get him for General Chemistry II next semester.

My Animal Science 1 professor. He knew how to capture the class’s attention and made each lecture interesting. He also didn’t rely on powerpoints to teach, and that made me focus more, because when professors use powerpoint, I pay more attention to that than to the professor.

My conducting professor. He’s so laid-back and will give advice in the nicest way possible.

It would be my digital logic design professor. It takes a gifted man to make a 5pm class interesting after a long day of lectures (first class at 8)

I actually don’t like any of my professors this semester, but my History, English 100, Anthropology, and Acting professors were all phenomenal.

My Film Studies professor is great! Really enjoyed being in his class; I can’t wait for his Spring class.

2 out of my 4 instructors I’ve had previous semesters, so thats real nice. For this one I’d say mu Humanities instructor. First time I’ve talked to one of my instructors for over an hour in his office.

My Math professor!!!
She was soooo awesome. She taught a class called Introduction to Analysis and Linear Algebra.

Gilded Age professor - she’s really lovely and has great enthusiasm for the period.
The workload was the right level too, and I feel well informed for the exams.

My Intro to Theatre professor or my French professor. The latter is retiring in the spring and I was truly blessed to be able to have him for my course.

My Math CA (which are like TA’s only they are undergrads that took the course the previous year not grad students) is an absolute BOSS. Cult hero status. My music TF (most schools call them TAs?) is so helpful, laid back and is the type of person I just would like to chill and talk music with (which I do during office hours).

Last summer I went about doing “study course elsewhere” incorrectly. I didn’t get the form signed prior to taking a course at a local community college. Anyway, the director of academic advisement in the civil engineering department had to handle it. I had to contact her multiple times and figured her to be unreliable. She eventually got the forms signed and I did get credit for my class.

Later I found out she was teaching a course I was taking this fall - it’s a basic IT course mainly designed for civil engineers (goes over stuff more useful to the major rather than a computer science class I guess). I thought it was going to be extremely awkward since I was so close to snapping over the phone when talking to her.

She’s nice and helpful it turns out. She’s actually probably my favorite this semester and makes the IT class not terribly boring (never skipped it due to displeasure of going).

My voice professor and my History of East Asia Before 1800 professor. There are people who don’t like my history professor because he’s too liberal and opinionated, but he’s the most interesting history teacher I have ever had. The only thing I don’t like about him is that he’s rather disorganized, so when he’s trying to find a picture in his folders that’s relevant to our lecture, he takes a long time and keeps saying “where is it? I know it’s here…” Also, he had a tendency to go off-topic and talk about irrelevant stuff.

My International Relations professor. He came to my school out of a advisory role with the Obama administration, and prior to that was a diplomatic attach

We had two bio professors this semester, and they were both awesome and gave interesting lectures. When I went to Catalina Island with some of my bio classmates, I got to go snorkeling with our second professor! Also, we went to the tide pools with our first professor.
