<p>Does anyone know how to go about getting a refund for the enrollment deposit?</p>
<p>I saw a statement that enrollment deposits aren't refundable after May 1 so I guess that implies they are refundable before then. I'd contact admissions and ask them how to get it back:</p>

<p>If I might ask, if you weren't sure you were going to UT why did you pay the enrollment deposit?</p>
<p>Well, if I were to wait until April 1 (which is when I hear from other universities) to pay the enrollment deposit, I would not receieve a housing contract until sometime later. So in order to guarantee that I get on-campus housing I paid the deposit and received a housing contract. Yes, they are refundable so it really is not a big deal I guess.</p>
<p>That's why we did it, too. Did you have a housing contract now? How long did it take after making the deposit?</p>
<p>The contract came in the mail about 3 to 4 days after I paid the enrollment deposit</p>
