<p>Hey i'm an international transfer student majoring in literature. I was wondering if people have enrolled in their courses already? I can enroll from the 19th July online, however i have been using the course search and a lot of the courses i was hoping to take are already closed and the enrollment capacity is full, which has confused me as i have not been able to have a chance to enroll yet. Does this mean i cannot enroll in these classes at all? As there are not many other literature courses that i am able to take for this fall.</p>

<p>Some of the classes may have spots held specifically for new transfers and frosh. The Lit department is pretty good about doing this. However, I would recommend contacting the department and asking about a class plan they think you should take. Why? They’ll be able to give you permission codes to add classes you need ;)</p>
<p>No guarantee, of course. Some classes are capacity controlled. But you won’t know until you ask.</p>
