I posted this in the UC Transfers forum, but unfortunately most of the responses were negative (shunning UCSC for no reason) or unhelpful. So I think this would be a better place to ask my question.

I'm worried that I may not be admitted to UCSC because my GPA dropped in Fall 2010. I now have about a 3.1. However, I will have all my IGETC completed this Spring and I will have 62 transferable units. My major is Literature.
So far, I have all my English requirements completed and everything else needed complete, except I am taking Statistics this semester. I did not have to take any prereq's because I tested into higher level math and I also petitioned prereq's just to be on the safe side. I am taking 6 classes this semester. What do you think my chances are? I'm a CC student, born and raised in California.

I am interested in hearing everybody's story/goal, whether you are a transfer student or straight from high school student.
