Does anyone know if I'm supposed to leave the grades blank or put "PL" in there?

The instructions say to just leave the grades blank.

^do you leave them blank for Winter 2010 as well?

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that you do leave them blank. The update is due on 1/31, and most winter classes end right around then, so grades probably won’t be out until early February.

where does it tell us to leave it blank?

I don’t see where it says that either.

^when u click the little i in the yellow circle, it shows all the grades that can be put in, “PL” is not one of them

As CalBearGuy mentioned, you can click the “i” in the yellow circle above the “Grades” category in Spring 2010 to see where the instructions are given:

[…]

"Students on the A-B-C-D-F grading system should enter the appropriate letter grade for each course (A, B, C, D or F) or:

P = Pass
NP = No Pass
CR = Credit
NC = No Credit
W = Withdrawal
I = Incomplete

If you used a different grading system, enter your grades exactly as they appear on your transcripts. Examples of other grading systems include single-digit numeric (e.g., 1-2-3-4-5), numeric on a scale of 100, and other letter grade systems (e.g., E-S-U).

In terms where grades have yet to be issued, the grade field may be left blank."

[…]

So, we may leave Winter and Spring 2010 grades blank.

^ good stuff, i was too lazy to go on there and get that hahahah

Oh, no problem. I just wanted to show where we are told to leave the grades for planned courses blank.
