Is an environmental chemistry a good major? Pros and cons? Any info really is appreciated.
I have never heard of it
from what I’ve heard environmental chemistry is basically a dumbed down chemistry major for those to avoid physical chemistry
EC may not require: physics 2, organic 2, physical chemistry 1 & 2, calculus 3 (replaces wit environmental chem classes)
BioC may not require: physical chemistry 1 & 2, physics 2, calculus 3 (replaces with gen bio 1 & 2, and Biochemistry 1 & 2)
taking a Chemistry degree + with gen bio 1 & 2 and Biochemistry 1 & 2 would be nice (best option than the standalone three)
