What is the differnce between Environmental Engineering and. Environmental Studies/ Science, Forestry, and Geology. What are some related careers, job opportunity's, and good colleges? Which one uses the most math?

I’m wondering about this too. Wrong thread though

This should be posted on the Majors thread but I will try to answer your question.
Environmental Engineering sometimes grouped with Civil has at least 4-6 engineering based math classes required for the major since it is an ENGINEERING major.

Environmental Studies can be a BA or BS major depending upon the program and college.
The major usually has Basic Calculus and a statistics class. If it is a BA major you will usually have more policy type classes vs. the BS major which will have more science classes such as Physics and Chemistry. My older son is at UC Davis as an Envionmental Science and Resource Management student (BS program). Math was one of his weaknesses so he opted for this major instead.

There are so many variations in the Environmental Studies/Science major when it comes to course requirements. I would suggest to look over each schools course offerings to find which program would suit you best.
