Environmental engineering

How hard is environmental engineering vs civil or structural?

Depends on your definition of hard. Structural engineering is a concentration of civil engineering unless you were talking about architectural engineering? Architectural engineering seems more intensive in that you have a little more units to complete. Some of the environmental and civil classes overlap. I may be biased because I’m a civil engineering major but I think it’s a little harder than environmental in terms of the classes you have to take. Environmental is more chemistry based though.

Thanks - thats is what I thought. What about job opportunities and salaries?

On the link below, if you go to civil, environmental, or architectural engineering, you will see where students ended up and how much they are making.

For civil and environmental engineering, we share the same career fair. We have our own career fair and there is about 50 companies each time who come to recruit CE/ENVE majors.

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much…I really appreciate it!
