<p>I always thought that environmental science and ecology were the same, but once I actually started to look at majors, they are listed as different things, so what exactly is the difference, and what are the other earth-involved science majors I should look at that would do good with my passion for the Earth? Any help/ suggestions are aperciated :)

<p>I think Environmental science involves more of the people aspect of things and how we interact with the Environment (fossil fuels, overgrazing). Ecology deals with the interaction of living organisms with nature, so perhaps the stereotypical nature lover type science? I tried :/</p>
