I am a transfer student and got accepted to both schools.
I never see a ranking in environmental studies, but it seems to me that the both schools are pretty close in their environmental programs. But I noticed one major difference in their student body size, which is 160 enrolled undergrad in UCD vs. 400+ in UCSB. Does it mean that one program is better than the other?
Any other comments regarding the general comparison between the two campuses is also welcomed.
Thanks.

I hear more environmental things coming from Davis. But all UC campuses are going “green” so you won’t lose out on the education. They’re both middle-tiers, but I think Davis would be more solid in those studies. But you should check out both schools to see which is better for your personality. I’m going to SB =D

In my opinion… UC Davis.

Davis is hands down the better choice for enviro sci/studies

Depends on what area of environmental science interests you.

What about environmental engineering?
