<p>I don't think ENVS 097 counts towards the Environmental Studies major...pretty sure it starts at 200. Isn't 097 a frosh seminar anyway?</p>
<p><em>sigh</em> The whole point of wanting to take ENVS 097 was to get an INTRODUCTION to environmental science, and to evaluate whether or not I would want to choose it as a major. So, has anyone here on the board ever taken this class? If so, could you please tell me the main emphasis, curve, other details, etc.?</p>

<p>well it's a freshman seminar, and it's on crystals... which probably isn't the best introduction to environmental studies</p>
<p>course review seems to have decent ratings though - but nothing about the course is on the department website, so no syllabus available online</p>

The Prophet- it's not a 'butt hole comment'; ____ has trolled my postings a few times before and has left snarky comments, and I'm pretty sure that he doesn't know or even understand my intentions when I leave posts regarding different things. I don't want his OPINION, I want an opinion of people that actually know something about Penn aside from their desperate attempts at online research and pandering to other students about the campus just to pad their admissions materials.</p>
