In this month many schools is releasing ED to which a lot of student athlete are applying. I saw many very active CC are getting very good results. I am happy for them in the mean time I am envy their enjoys and excitement.

I can understand current student athlete parents what have been through. Time goes very fast. The newest generation of parents coming this thread ask questions or post comments like me last year. Now DS is back for winter break from college and doing nothing with his sport. What the life changes.

In this Forum, there are lot parents not comfortable with other people think that student athlete is taking advantage system by getting in a good school with lower scores.

My advice is that just ignore them. Student athlete is not an easy task. DS doesn't play his sport because he knows it takes a lot of time from him. Student is before athlete as word "student athlete."

You play the card whatever you have in your hand for very competitive college admission, for example, using playing sport, music/Art talent, URM, NMF, very rich or famous, legacy, and excellent SAT/ACT scores.

Again, I am an envious parent. Congratulation to those parents who are working very hard to their student athlete who got accepted to his/her No. 1 school.
