EOP letters?!

Are there any EDers applied for EOP/HEOP and got something from them by mail to fill out you family incomes and stuff...
what will happen if they accept you for EOP/HEOP.....
hint hint please......

I applied EOP but apparently I wasn't qualified because I never got anything. If you do get in via HEOP/EOP, you're gonna have to go waste your summer up at Cornell for this pre-summer stuff. I think you'll also have to do a bunch of stuff during the year with some academic help group to make sure you're keeping up.

Does that mean you're basically in ED? cuz why would they qualify you for a special program if they reject you for admission?

While HEOP/EOP greatly increases your chances, you DO need to submit all of your financial stuff, so that doesn't necessarily mean she's in yet.

yeah... I got the letter about two weeks ago.. sent all the financial documents and stuff about a week ago.. so we'll see. I called the admissions office cuz i was confused as to whether eop would delay my decision because I waited like 10 days to send my stuff... and they said acceptance to EOP and acceptance to the college are completely separate.

What's EOP?

(Higher) Education(al) Opportunity Program. Basically it's a program that helps poor minorities get in. I don't mean any offense by this, because I applied for this program myself, but that's really the basic jist of it.

but i thought EOP is also for underrepresented students though..........
shouldn't it be a bigger chance for students who got accepted to EOP??
