Hey-
(my name may be a bit confusing, I actually am now attending Mercersburg)
I would be happy to answer any questions you may have so PM me. I would like to say that I am so happy at Mercersburg and looking back I would not of picked another school. That being said it is a personal thing and you should definitely choose what seems right. I am currently a freshman and I don’t really understand what you mean about it being completely liberal arts or freshmen being left to study on their own after six months. We did have study hall in an academic building for the fall term and half of the winter term. Now we are in the dorms but study hall is still in place, there are proctors and we have to turn in our phones during this time. Its really not that bad and actually creates an environment conducive to studying.
Also, personally I find the environment very welcoming and supportive, almost like you can try different things without fear of failure. The teachers and older students form a good web if you need help or someone to talk to. Let me know if you have any other questions!!
