I got admitted into the university of Wisconsin-Madison a while ago and it was only after reading a few of the threads posted that I realized I couldn't remember what major I exactly applied to for this school. Most likely from the fact that I applied to five other ones and none of them offered the exact same majors. What I originally wanted was to major in Environmental Science, but now I'm looking into Biology, Biochemistry, or Wildlife Ecology. I knew I got into their College of Ag & Life Sciences but it never occured to me to check out the major. (Stupid...I know) The program listed for me is Agriculture and Life Sciences, so is that my major now, or what? I looked over their majors page and I didn't see that one anywhere so what does it mean? And more importantly is it possible to go to a school and change what major you want as long as your still going to be in the same college? Thanks for all who answer, I'm just really confused at this point.

of course, you dont even have to have a major until your junior eyar of college, and even then you can change it as many times as you please. there's been plenty of stories of people going to a school undecided and then transferring to the more difficult school.
