So I applied early to four schools, all pretty high-level (#1 choice is UChicago, at least currently).

On the Common App, I listed the National Merit Commendation award that I recieved as a national honor. I assumed that it would be, considering that the cutoff score is nationwide, as opposed to state-by-state, but now I see that it's apparently supposed to be listed as regional.

So, what should I do? I already submitted and I'm concerned that this will make me look bad in some way -- I mean, it's a tiny thing but it's wrong and I already listed it -- should I email the schools, or will that just hurt me/call attention to the mistake?

Kind of freaking out, thanks for any help.
