pastariffic, are you not so keen on Princeton?

It's weird ... I absolutely loved Princeton. But I'm not sure I want to go there. I wanted to go to a smaller school; I wanted to go to a liberal arts college. I think Amherst is, for me, probably the best LAC out there. I also don't want to go to the same college as my brother, who goes to Princeton. I think Princeton is probably the best undergrad university in the country. I loved the campus, the students, the classes, and the entry system. Yet I'm still not sure it's the right atmosphere for me. It's nitpicky, I know, but it's hard to let go of Amherst when I've dreamed of going there for so long.

But let me make it clear - I know I'm terribly lucky for having Princeton as an option. It just wasn't my first choice.

No I know what you mean!

I would trade my Amherst acceptance for your Princeton one. Wouldn't it be sweet if that were possible?

It would! My brother would be disappointed ... but that's life!

One of my friends got into Amherst, and he would rather go to Princeton, so everyone keeps offering to trade me, but no such luck ...
