<p>I'm really getting tired of the common app...I've been up for about 6 hours now trying to upload my essay, and nothing is working...I've converted it into every form...opened a new window, used only one single window, logging in and out, even restarting my computer (sometimes that does work for me). I submitted a ticket to tech support at midnight with no response...am I just screwed? Is it my apparent destiny to not be able to apply to any of my schools? (which of course about 70% of them have the deadline tomorrow..)</p>
<p>ANY tips?? Is anyone else like me being blocked from every single direction? AHHHHH</p>
<p>hey i also got the same email as fabxx jus now.
i think instead of trying to upload it for us like they were doing (according to some CCers), they are now trying to combat the actual problem so we can do it ourselves.
i think we should all give commonapp a break and stop clogging it for a while since its not working anyways. ive been constantly trying to reupload and i can imagine how many other ppl are also doing that right now. lets give it a couple hours?</p>
<p>it's not working for me either. judging by the posts this has been going on for a good 12 hours. i am on a mac, however. could this be the reason?</p>
<p>if it's still not uploading tonight, would emailing my essay (the file in question) directly to the admissions office be TOO annoying?</p>
<p>yea..ive tried following the their advice and tried it from IE, Mozilla, Firefox, as well as after converting to a pdf file. lets all just give it a break because its obviously not going to get better by resubmitting. :/</p>
<p>yeah my friend just called me after sobbing for about 10 minutes about how she thought she was going to miss her brown deadline and she left it alone for about 2 hours, and she uploaded it fine.
so I'm going to give it a chance before I have a mental and/or nervous breakdown...
hopefully it will work later today...? =</p>

<p>I am having the same problem, I was freaking out. Still am, but a little better to know other people are in the same boat, because I'm on vacation and uploading from a different country, so I know thats not the problem, but i have only 5 hours left here =X</p>
