What happens if you make an error while filling personal details in sat omr sheet? Will the score be canceled? I mean, surely the other details that I filled correctly should let college board fix the error. Please response, this is stressing me out because I just gave a great sat test, but I’m worried I might have made an error while filling the details
No, but you should contact the CB ASAP to make the correction.
See I don’t think I have actually made an error. But I am just wondering what would happen if I did. I mean, if I enter the right registration number and test center code, shouldn’t that be enough for collegeboard to fill in the other details like Test booklet code or test Id themselves? Please help clear these things for me as they are really causing me to overthink
Then don’t worry about things that might not happen.
Again, don’t overthink if you did it correctly, but if you did not put in the test code, then no, the computer is not going to guess what test you meant, and the clerical analyzing error reports cannot read your mind. The onus is on you to follow the instructions.
I’m asking for what can be done in that situation? You’re just making me even more anxious. Help me, don’t scare me
I answered your question - contact the CB. They are they only ones who can fix it if it is possible.
I understand that. But what I wanna know is if this does actually happen, can I still get my score?
If there was an error, and if the College Board can fix it, then yes, you would get your score.
Okay, do you think, with your vast experience in SAT,that an error like this can be fixed?
I have no data one way or the other.
Shouldn’t a site devoted to SAT queries have data with the moderators to support their answer?
This site is not “devoted” to that. If you want answers with certainty, then you need to go to the source, in this case, the College Board.
