Yes, next week is definitely one of those "Oh crap" game weekends. I live in Wyoming. My daughter is a Junior at University of Wyoming. I personally know many kids at UW and on the team.

Then there's that 21 years in the Air Force. Living 2 hours from the Academy. And my son applying to the academy. Oh, the stresses of life. Then of course, I have tickets to the game in the springs next weekend if I want them. Oh well. Personally, either way it's going to be a good game. Especially after Wyoming got destroyed by New Mexico this weekend. 3 to 3 at 2 minutes before half time. 2 hour delay because of rain, thunder, lightning. 2nd half finally gets started and Wyoming forgets to show up. Kind of hard when it's your home field AND homecoming. Well, 20 to 3 and that was the end of that game. Plus, I went and sat in the rain to see that game. Oh well, lets see how next week goes.

Since the next three weekends are Silver, and Football will be at the center of them...Let's just say Go Falcons, Beat Army, take the MWC and a Bowl game too. Oh and beat Notre Dame too.

As I mentioned in the other post; if Air Force wins at least 1 of the 2 conference games left, and wins the conference, they are then eligible for the las vegas bowl. That pits #1 Mountain West with #4/5 of the Pac10. Which currently looks like Oregon State. Readhead; you might not want to go to that game. LOL!!!!

It will be OK redhead you can make it your second trip to Vegas and Potterfan can come home for the weekend as long as appropriate passes can be obtained.

Oh you know what, you're just jealous that your state isn't as pretty as mine, Mr. Texas. :) AF v. OSU would be very interesting and somewhat confusing. But I would probably rub it in my brother's face if the Falcons won. I don't know if I'll be back to Vegas any time soon, ds52262... you know, I might be tempted to get married myself and then I would be kicked out of the Academy. But I am going to convince your daughter to drag me home with her one of these days. I don't get to see enough of her!

We lost. :( Wow, that game was frustrating.

well that practically eliminates winnging the conference, and with New Mexico's only conference loss already to BYU, i would predict

1) BYU 2) New Mexico 3) AFA.

that would put BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl, New Mexico against Navy (assuming they qualify) in the Poinsettia
bowl, and us playing in Fort Worth on Dec 31 in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces bowl

looks like ESPN predictions will be right. for a minute i thought we were going to pull a Dallas Cowboy: 5+ turnovers and still win the game. oh well, guess thats life

Your theory is valid, but there's one variable overlooked. Air Force has played 7 conference games so far. They only have 1 left against San Diego. The rest of the conference has only played 3-4 conference games. So, unless BYU can win 4 of 5 and New Mexico can win 3 of 4, things could still get interesting. I admit that is could be difficult, but if Air Force beats San Diego, it most definitely puts some pressure on BYU and New Mexico.

Well Redhead OSU doesn't look promising, but a bowl game still looks good. As for Vegas weddings aren't the only thing going on here. You are missing our greatest draw. No not hot weather Hornet. All the fast moving Jets, Booming Bombers, full tankers refueling over the desert. Nothing like Red Flag season. You get shaken by the noise of F-16/F-15 sorties leaving Nellis to do battle over the desert every morning. Oh yeah and the Thunderbirds are getting ready to do the season ending show in a couple of weeks.

But the Falcons still need to beat Army and ND, San Diego State will be a bonus.

I was referring to my home lol. I would love to go back to Vegas! Thinking about it, was potterfan in ATA? I competed in Nationals in Vegas once.
