Essay #4

Can anyone who is planning on doing Topic #4 for the essay or anyone who has previously done it give me tips on how to write a good essay that is not cliche? I am planning on applying to Johns Hopkins, Cornell, etc. Thank you! The prompt is:

Describe a problem you’ve solved or a problem you’d like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma-anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.

I do a ton of research, so i am planning on talking about that in my essay

I did this prompt. One of my teachers quit mid-year, and I wound up teaching the class for half a semester.
I would avoid writing an essay about difficulties you encountered during research.
