I was wondering how specifically Boston College looks at its supplement. I think I wrote a fairly well written essay on the first topic.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, encouraged his followers to live their lives in the service of others. How do you plan to serve others in your future endeavors?

However, I felt like I was a little off-topic. I wrote more on the influences i received from others to live in the service of others and not really on what I would exactly do. I purely said something along the lines of “I strive to be a figure that is ready to forsake comfort if necessary to serve others, not for glory, fame, recognition, but purity of heart.”

Is that okay? Do you think it would be too off topic since I didn’t say something like I want to be a doctor in the future or lawyer.
