<p>You guys, I have a friend and her dad is a UPenn professor. Actually, I know three kids who are sons/daughters of Penn professors but that’s not the point.</p>
<p>She’s getting a scholarship if she gets in, which she very well might…not my point.</p>
<p>OKAYYYY, so she told me the essay is very, very, very vital, perhaps more so than at some other ivies. Is she right about this? I’d be happy if she was, since I love writing and just…yeah…</p>

<p>Essays=Sat I=Sat II's</p>
<p>I thought the ivies strictly NEVER give out "scholarships"...hmmm...?</p>
<p>It's not a scholarship, per se, but a son or daughter of a full-time professor at Penn (and at all other Ivies, and maybe even other institutions - not sure) gets to go for free, if he or she gets in.</p>

<p>4????...i thought it was 2...one's required and you have a choice out of 3 for the other one...then you have 2 very very short short answers...right???</p>
