I’ll be one of the many applying to Wharton ED and I was wondering how much weight the essay holds. I’ve been told that some schools care more for statistics than the essay. For those who were accepted, how much of an emphasis do you think Penn places on the essay?

Since er, I haven’t done some of the crazy-amazing things that some Wharton applicants have done like saving babies or running a business or being president of the student body…I’m hoping Penn really likes reading essays.
