I don't know what I was thinking. I accidentally started the essay on the second page. So, when I got to the bottom of the page, and realized what had happened, I wrote "accidentally started on 2nd page" at the top of the first page and underneath that wrote "(continued from second page)" and finished my essay. How big of a problem do you think this is? Will collegeboard immediately dismiss my essay thinknig it was blank/off topic to begin with, or could they possibly be lenient towards this?

Ha! This exact problem was posted here during the last SAT. I don’t think it is a problem. Since you wrote “continued at the top” I’m sure the graders will notice it. Even if you didn’t they are not dumb, and they would notice this. I think you are fine.

I think that depends on how strict your grader is.

-Technically- speaking, they ARE suppose to grade page 1 first THEN page 2, even if you gave them the little note. But I’m sure you’ll be fine. I don’t think there are too many @$shole teachers who would give you a zero for that.

I dont know cuz u see, they scan these essays and these are sent to the graders…they will see the first page of the two pages for the essay first (which is your second page). So unless you wrote something like “start reading from the Second page”, then hat might cuz some confusion for the grader., not that that’ll affect your score or anyhing
