<p>So, I got a 770 on the Writing section of the SAT (2330 overall) with -0 MC and an 8 essay. I've read that the lower essay subscore shouldn't be a problem, and that the colleges that I'm planning on applying to only use the essays to "verify" application essays. However, I took that test with the flu on 4 hours of sleep, and my writing is usually of much better quality than what was, at least in my opinion, a pretty terrible essay. I'm worried that colleges will see my application essays and think that I had someone else write them, so much so that I'm wondering if I should retake the test. Any opinions?</p>
