Did anyone get a writing MC subscore of 80 on the March 2012 SAT?

What was your essay score and your overall score? I got one question wrong and an essay grade of 9 and I got a 760 so I'm just curious as to if getting that question right would have meant a perfect score

I got a writing MC subscore of 76 (one question wrong) and my essay was a 10. My overall score was a 780. I reckon if you’d gotten every single question right, you’d have an 800 even though your essay score isn’t 10+.

Alrighty thanks that’s what I was thinking…this frustrates me greatly

My friend got an 80/8 essay, and he got a 780. That probably means that a 9 essay + 80 MC = perfect 800.

lol oy…off by one in writing AND math.

I got an 80 sub score and an 11 essay. If you look at old curves for most tests 9 essay + 80 mc = 790. Probably the case with this one as well.

all the tests in the blue book have it as an 800

yeah im probably mistaking it for an 8 which is probably a 790.

I got a 76/11 for an 800. I think you needed 80/9 for an 800 as well.

I got 80 and 10 essay for an 800.

76/8 = 740. Not all that happy with this.

Wow, one more right and I could have gotten an 800. 770 is still good I guess.

76/11= 800 as well.

The one wrong was an improving paragraph question. Wth O_o.

BTW, this was the easiest writing section I ever took practice or real even though there were two tricky ones. Literally finished the section in less than 10 minutes.

Probably got really lucky though.
