I wanted to know which topic would be most interesting to write about.
1. Track and field, in terms of journey from average to top ranking
2. Weaves( slang for hair extensions) and how wearing them allows me to accept frequent change and how my weaves identify with me
3. Lead singer for church choir ( not mentioning religion in essay significantly) but of how I gained confidence in myself and being able to sing in front of hundreds of people alone.
Any other suggestions are welcomed.

definitely the second. it’s the only one that sounds unique.

As a trackie myself, I’d go with the first one. It takes a lot of hard work to improve and an essay on it would show your determination, strength, etc. The only thing I’d say about it is to make sure it’s original and not just bragging.

Track essays are done by everyone who does track. However, it’s not the topic of track that is cliched but the fact that everyone writes it in the same way (first narrating their sport, then talking about how hard it was at first or how difficult it was to dedicate yourself, and finally wrapping it up by saying you learned dedication, team work, and how hard work always pays off).

So, with that said, I’d say go with topic #2. I’ve never heard of that topic before, so it is possible for it to be incredibly unique. I do like the idea :)

Which one has the most interesting anecdotes that allow you to show your voice and your character in an interesting way? Choose that topic.

Which says the most about you, not what you do but who you are?

2nd one seems the most unique. As long as you incorporate more things that will make the admissions interested in you.
