Essay Upload Help

<p>I'm on a mac with "Open Office" as my word processor. I saved my essay as a .doc and it uploaded successfully. However, when I click view document and attempt to view it the essay does not load properly. Should I save my essay in a different way before I upload it. If so, what type of file? I don't want admission agents to be unable to open my essay.</p>

<p>Try PDF. My high school counselor recommends that anything you upload should be a PDF because it usually doesn’t mess up the format.</p>

<p>PDF probably actually isn’t the best; a lot of older computers can’t access them.
.rtf files can be read by any computer and easily transfer documents from the oldest software you can imagine straight to the newest.</p>
