Essay word count

<p>I know for both the optional special circumstances essay and the other talents and hobbies essay the word limit is at 4000. Just to be sure though they obviously do not expect to get anywhere close to that correct? I'll likely only have about 300 words (if any) for the special circumstances and maybe 600 for the other talents and hobbies essay. Is this alright?</p>

<p>To my understanding (and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong), those aren’t even essays. Pretty sure the UofM doesn’t have an essay on its application. Those are just there to list special circumstances or other achievements. Also 4000 words is an absurd amount that no one is expected to reach haha</p>
