<p>Don’t you get a PDF file showing what the admissions office will see? If so, how many words are allowed? I just want to know if it really matters if my essays are 550 words instead of 500.</p>

<p>you can probably fill in 800+ words in there; the pdf formats the essay so it's single spaced and the font is very small. mine was 560 words and it took up less than 2/3 of the page.</p>

<p>i was only worried about writing too much...I wouldn't write more just to fill up the page...thats prob. the worst thing to do...if they give a limit, they def. dont want it to be too long</p>
