<p>This essay looks to be the most demanding of any of the schools I'm applying to. What did you write for this essay?</p>

<p>I wrote about the time I spent in Thailand last summer. It was a once in a lifetime thing so I made it sound like that. It was the same essay that I had been using for pretty much all my scholarships and my other college applications. At the end, I added a paragraph (to make it a little longer and to address the prompt completely) that said how this experience would contribute to the people that I would meet at Rice. I think I basically said that I would encourage everyone to go out and travel the world. I said that you can grow immensely through this experience. I got in, so I guess it worked. I actually loved this essay when I saw it because I knew that I would be able to recycle my essay.</p>
